Guadalupe Island is Shark City! It has become the premiere place to see Great White Sharks in their natural environment. Located 150 miles off the west coast of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula and about 250 miles southwest of Ensenada, the volcanic island provides researchers and divers the opportunity to see and learn about the Great White Shark from the comfort of a cage, of course. We asked Marine Biologist Eric Higuera why and when the sharks come to Guadalupe. Use this information to plan your next trip so you see the Biggies!
